The International Conference RAGUSA Safety, Health and Welfare in Agriculture and Agrosystems - RAGUSA SHWA - since 2008 will be held in in the ancient UNESCO heritage city of Ragusa Ibla - IT.

Part of the city of Ragusa - "the city of the upland" in south east Sicily - Ibla is an ancient lovely district rich in Late Baroque architecture, listed in UNESCO Heritage from 2002.

Just when the pandemic era will be finish you can land at Catania International Airport

Etna Bus Company connects Catania Airport to Ragusa. The trip will take about 2 hours to reach Ragusa from Catania airport. You can also visit "Flixbus".

You can also enjoy the small and lovely Comiso airport, which is connected with some domestic and european destinations. Comiso is a small town close to Ragusa (20 km, 25 min).

RAGUSA IBLA

Ragusa Ibla and other seven towns in south-eastern Sicily: Caltagirone, Militello Val di Catania, Catania, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo and Scicli were rebuilt after 1693, when a terrible earthquakedestroyed a large part of Southeastern Sicily. Keeping within the late Baroque style of that day, they also depict distinctive innovations in town planning and urban building. In 2002 those towns all together were included in the World Heritage List as Late Baroque Towns of the Val di Noto.
